Neubert-Webb Trust - Request for Proposals

The Clark County Board of Developmental Disabilities through the Neubert-Webb Trust, is pleased to offer a Request for Proposals for individuals, organizations, governmental agencies and academic institutions that address the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities residing in Clark County Ohio.

Organizations - For 2012, the Neubert-Webb Trust can award grants up to a maximum of $5,000  download the Organization Grant Application

Organization applications accepted August 17th and awarded by September 21st.

Individuals - For 2012, the Neubert-Webb Trust can award grants up to a maximum of $1,000  download the Individual Grant Application

Individual applications will be accepted:

February 15th and awarded by March 18th.

August 17th and awarded by September 21st.

2011 Awards

A total of $36,023.00 was awarded in grant funding for 2011.

Twenty-two individual grants totaling $18,273.00 were awarded to fund the following:

  • 8 iPads
  • hand splints
  • hearing aid accessories
  • Swim club membership                      
  • stationary positioning chair                     
  • driving instructions
  • Stove                                                       
  • 3 Solidarity Conference fees                     
  • funds for lift van
  • Neuromuscular electric stimulator         
  • home chair ramp                         
  • various communication items
  • Power recline

Four organizational grants totaling $17,750.00 were awarded to fund the following:

  • Northridge Elementary School for handicap accessible playground equipment
  • Steps to Your Dreams for a wheelchair ramp and Hoyer lift to assist with mounting a horse
  • City of New Carlisle for adult changing tables for the City swimming pool
  • Springfield City Schools for 20 Wii’s. One for each special education classroom in the district

2010 Awards

Ten applications were approved totaling $20,319.98.

Five applications were approved for organizations to fund the following projects:

  • Purchase and installation of accessible playground equipment (Northridge Elementary School, Springfield)
  • Equine activities and therapies program (Lincoln Elementary School, Springfield)
  • Purchase of a hydraulic lift for a public pool (City of New Carlisle)
  • Hab On the Go program (TAC Enterprises)
  • Best Buddies program (Wittenberg University, Springfield)

Five individual applications were approved to fund the following:

  • Van lift
  • 2 wheel chair ramps
  • a three wheel bike
  • appliances to help an individual move into a home
 

We assist people with developmental disabilities and their families
in living, working, and participating in our community.
