7th Annual Kenton Caper Bike Tour
Saturday, September 6, 2014
Enjoy the fall colors during this scenic ride through Clark and Champaign Counties!
Choose your route of 8, 22, 36 or 75 miles along courses for both experienced and novice riders. The 8 and 22 mile routes follow the Simon Kenton Trail and are mostly flat. The 36 mile route starts out on the bike path and then branches off onto peaceful roads. This route is flat to rolling, with a few hills. The 75 mile route is a challenging, self-supported route, featuring lovely countryside and interesting locales along the way. Not a bike rider? Venture out on the 1-mile fun walk.
New this year is a free picnic following the event from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., sponsored and catered by Sheehan Brothers.
Water and snack stops will be provided for the 8, 22, and 36 mile routes. The 75 mile route is self-supported. Ride is rain or shine.
Proceeds benefit the Hygiene Pantry and the Developmental Disabilities of Clark County Levy Campaign Fund.
