QUEST Adult Services

QUEST logo QUEST

QUEST provides a variety of personal, vocational and social services to individuals. Each program is personally tailored to complement the specific needs, interests and desires of the individual in a goal-oriented, systematic manner. The habilitation specialist coordinates services and helps each person to form linkages with the community. The adult services staff assists each individual to make informed decisions.  Services are outlined in each individual’s annual plan which changes as the individual’s choices and needs change and develop.  Participants can choose from adult programs with the following different areas of emphasis:

Vocational Services
Vocational services are designed to provide paid/unpaid work experiences and other needed habilitation services to individuals.  The vocational program emphasis may include work stimulation, sensory activities, exercise, computer skills, social skills and daily routines to enhance attention to task and individual growth.  Facility-based employment offers paid employment, whenever possible.  QUEST subcontracts with TAC Industries to offer paid work opportunities to individuals. The supportive work environment allows participants to learn and refine work skills in a variety of tasks, including; assembly, inspection, packaging and collating tasks.  Opportunities for both paid and unpaid work experience help participants to develop job skills and work maturity which lead to greater inclusion in the community.

Habilitation Services
Facility-based habilitation gives individuals the opportunity to participate in social skills, arts and crafts, exercise, computer skills, reading, music and other individually tailored programs.  Community-based habilitation assists individuals in exploring and participating in the community in which they live, work and play.  Participants are encouraged to explore choices to discover a place where they can better connect with the community. Individuals have the opportunity to participate in various activities with their family or care providers through community inclusion.

Senior Services
Senior services offer programs for seniors, age 53 or older.  The senior program combines habilitation and vocational services with community volunteer opportunities to help seniors stay active and connected in the community.  The program offers participants a variety of community activities including bingo at Elderly United, craft classes, movies, luncheons and special activities. There are two other community-based program options for senior age individuals. In the Senior Outback Program, individuals participate in a combination of facility-based services as well as activities in their community. Individuals enrolled in the Senior Back on Track program have retired from facility services, but continue their involvement in community activities.

Support Services
A variety of support services are available including Nursing services.  Licensed nurses provide a wide variety of nursing services, within the scope of nursing practice and in accordance with the individual's plan.

QUEST Shred Mill

QUEST ShredMill sorts paper to the highest select sort possible.  This assures the recycled paper can be reused for consumer products in the United States. We are capable of shredding and bailing up to 1 ton of paper per hour.   All paper is shredded to industry standard 5/16” for secure shred.  All paper is then baled into a 3’ x 3’ x 6’ bale and shipped to pulping mills inside of the United States. At no time is the shredded paper sold to off shore processors. Your documents are secure from the time they leave your business, until they are shredded, baled, and pulped at our businesses.
